Sometimes blessing come in the sweetest little packages. I was recently talking to God about this whole Jewelry Party business - should I do them, can I call them something other than jewelry parties, will people get annoyed if I ask them to have one, etc., etc. When all of a sudden a precious friend, Gayle, called me and asked me if she could have one for me! No begging on my part necessary! God is so great, right?

So she whipped up this party in a week, opened up her gorgeous home, and had some of her amazing and very sweet friends over. She even bought me a cute little present to boot. Don't you love it when you get blessed that way?

The Millinery Shop

I just found another seller on Etsy that I am blown away by - The Millinery Shop. If you know me, you know that I love to wear hats. If I were a millionaire, I would buy out her shop and wear a different hat everyday.

Lilyfly's Garden started on eBay a few years ago when I got the idea to sell children's personalized bracelets. I enjoyed it, got some good sales, but found that I couldn't keep up with my one-year old and still take all the orders in...so I put it on the back burner for awhile.

One day I stumbled upon etsy and it was all over from there. With a little hard work, inspiration from other etsy sellers, encouragement from my amazing family, and the awesome support of friends, I opened up Lilyfly's Garden on Etsy.

860 sales later, I couldn't be more thankful for the opportunities God has given me.

Thrift...

I am the ultimate bargain hunter. On any given day, if you ask me how much I paid for my outfit, I will more than likely say not over $5. I have the best time looking for bargains, and get a little thrill when I find something I really love for really cheap! I feel like it's Gods way of letting me feed my obsession with pretty things without breaking my bank account.

I have found that the best places to go are Thrift Stores that benefit a charity. It seems like people give those places really nice things, and things are always so cheap!

I can't say that I hit the jackpot every time I go, but I do manage to find some great treasures...
